OpsUPLOOP is the platform Scorchsoft runs its own business on, deployed as your own instance. Take it as it comes, connect it to the systems you run, or have it made to measure. Whichever route you take, you see the working product first.
IllustrationOne workflow first: connected, configured and rehearsed, and not live until someone on your side owns it.
Three routes
The same product, as far as you need it to go
Every route starts from the platform that already runs a business, never from a blank page. Most firms take the first two. Some go further.
1
As it comes
The modules you choose, licensed on your own instance, with your settings.
Your own instance, hosted by Scorchsoft: not a shared account
The modules you need, and the platform they share
Your statuses, rules and permissions, set as settings
Just want Outreach? Some modules, starting with Outreach, are also available as a hosted subscription: Scorchsoft runs it and your team signs in. A minimum commitment applies. Ask which modules are available this way.
Suits firms whose way of working looks like most firms’. Instead of a bigger suite that makes you work its way.
2
Connected and configured
Joined to your CRM, accounts and suppliers, so one set of records covers the business.
Connected to the systems you already run, with your own accounts
Your report types, scoring criteria, chase schedules and approvals
Actions that reach customers or money rehearsed before they go live
Suits firms that keep their CRM and accounting system. Instead of glue and dashboards that move data but own nothing.
3
Made to measure
Your own version, extended with the workflows, screens and connectors your firm needs, hosted by Scorchsoft or in your own environment.
Extended on the same platform, records and permissions, never started again
New connectors for systems that aren’t on the list today
Hosted by Scorchsoft, or deployed into your own environment
Grown over time into the hub your operations run on, and part of a wider data strategy if you have one
Suits firms whose way of working is part of their edge. Instead of a custom build that starts from a blank page.
Made to measure, never from a blank page
Made to measure means starting from a proven pattern and altering it to fit you, not starting from a blank page. AI-assisted development has made changing software far quicker than it used to be, so software can work the way your firm does, not the other way round. You still see the standard product working first, in the demo, before anything is extended.
Scorchsoft’s Managed AI & Automation Improvement Programme starts from your business, not from our product. It finds where time and money leak and recommends the simplest fix. Often that is OpsUPLOOP, as it comes or made to measure as the foundation for your operations. Sometimes it is something simpler.
Starting with one workflow keeps the first weeks focused on something your team will use every week, rather than a big launch nobody adopts.
1
Choose where to start
One workflow with a clear purpose: qualifying leads, planned billing, outreach or ownership. We agree what “working” looks like.
2
Connect
Your CRM, accounting system and any suppliers that workflow needs, using your own accounts. Or hold leads and deals in OpsUPLOOP itself.
3
Configure
Your report types, statuses, chase schedule, approval rules and who sees what. Settings in the product, not custom code.
4
Rehearse
Actions that reach customers or money run against test records and supplier test modes before anything live is switched on.
5
Go live
The first workflow runs on your real records, with a named owner on your side.
6
Extend
When the first one is a habit, add the next module, or have your version made to measure. Either way it builds on the records already there.
Your instance
Not a shared account
Scorchsoft deploys a separate OpsUPLOOP instance for your firm, hosted by Scorchsoft or in your own environment. Your records are not stored alongside other customers’.
Your rules
Configured first, extended when it earns it
Scoring, statuses, approvals and permissions are settings, so they change as your firm does. Where settings aren’t enough, your version is extended on the same platform.
Your people
Named owners
Every workflow has an owner on your side. Software shows the gap; a person closes it.
What it asks of you
Honest about the effort
A person who owns the setup and the rules on your side
Access to the systems being connected, with your own accounts
Time to agree your report types, scoring criteria, statuses and chase schedule. The criteria are yours; if you want help defining them, we can introduce you to our sales training partner
A regular habit of acting on what it shows
Questions
Is this a custom build?
It starts as the product, not a build. Most firms configure it. Where yours needs more, Scorchsoft extends your version on the same platform, and you see the working product before anything is built.
What does made to measure mean?
Made to measure means starting from a proven pattern and altering it to fit you, not starting from a blank page. OpsUPLOOP made to measure keeps the platform’s records, permissions and safeguards, and adds what your firm needs on top.
Can it run in our own environment?
Yes. Scorchsoft hosts each instance by default, and can deploy it into your own environment instead. We agree what that involves, including who runs it and how updates reach it, before you commit.
Why is made to measure practical now?
AI-assisted development has made changing software far quicker than it used to be. That is what lets Scorchsoft extend a working platform around how your firm runs, rather than asking you to work around it.
What do you need from us?
A person who owns the setup on your side, access to the systems being connected, and time to agree your rules. Software cannot decide what your reports should look for or how your chase schedule should run; your team does.
Is everything switched on at once?
No. Research and drafting can start early. Anything that reaches customers or money is switched on after it has been rehearsed, and only for the workflow you started with.
